My definition of art is “That which can be appreciated”. Within each medium my unique topics and flavourful styles can vary dramatically from a Gongbi floral on silk to a whimsical acrylic dragon. I paint whatever interests me and sometimes take guidance from my brush. Painting must be an enjoyable experience. Although I do paint with watercolour, pen and ink, and acrylic I am primarily known for my Chinese brush painting on rice paper. I have developed unconventional methods of presenting my artwork.
