Style: Education Format with 'Presenter and Lawyer' for Q&A

 

EVENT: Offers an Education session supported with printed Hand-outs on the topic of Copyright.  

This session- Copyright 101 demonstrates the rights inherent in Canadian Copyright Laws and creative work.  It features a presentation Overview of the issues surrounding Copyright supported with Hand-outs.  Some aspects to be covered include:

  • How Best to protect your creative work.....
  • What avenues are available if you feel you have been breached....
  • understanding general Copyright vs Trademark considerations

Session Length: 1 hour min with 30 Minutes for discussion/Q&A 

6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Fees: Student             $   5.00

          KLAC Member $  10.00

          Non-Member and Guests $  15.00

NOTE:  A Networking Social will be held in the Guild Room at the Academy after the Presentation CASH BAR
