You are cordially invited to the second Digital Arts Services Symposium / Symposium des services d’arts numériques 2019 (DASSAN19) in Toronto between March 15-20, 2019.
Over six days, DASSAN19 features inspiring digital literacy events in both virtual and real spaces; global guest speakers from North America, Europe, and the Pacific, including all-women speakers on March 18; immersive workshops and industry networking opportunities; artistic demonstrations of virtual and augmented reality; critical reflections on artificial intelligence, the emergence of decentralized technologies, an unconference on March 20, and much more.
Fully supported with live ASL and English-French interpretation services, DASSAN19 offers a range of delegate packages affordable for all. Options include:
· $300 bursaries for 3-Day Pass (limited number available until Mar 1)
· Regular 3-Day Pass for all activities Mar 18-20 (group rates and 1-Day Passes also available)
· Pay What You Decide Pass (available in late February).
Still can’t afford to attend? Send us an email at hello@DigitalASO.ca and we do our best to accommodate you. We would rather have you with us than not at all!
DASSAN19 takes place exactly two years to the day from the Arts in a Digital World Summit hosted by Canada Council for the Arts in Montreal in 2017. Funded by Canada Council’s Digital Strategy Fund and Toronto Arts Council’s Open Door, we hope DASSAN19 will set in motion a progressive agenda for digital transformation across all artistic disciplines in Canada.
Bring your voice to Toronto!
