The Kawartha Lakes Arts Council is proud to announce the 2024 Made in Kawartha Lakes Show + Sale. The weekend event takes place May 25 + 26, 2024 at the beautiful Kawartha Settlers Village (85 Dunn Street, Bobcaygeon), 10am-4pm each day.


 
 

Nestled amidst the breathtaking scenery of Kawartha Settlers' Village, this event reflects the rich creative spirit of Kawartha Lakes. Immerse yourself in the talents of 50 local artists and artisans, showcasing their finest works across a myriad of mediums. From exquisite paintings to handcrafted pottery, there's something to captivate every artistic soul.

Indulge your taste buds with delectable treats from the The Lindsay Brewing Company (beer, wine, and cold drinks) K-Dawgs (hot dogs and sausages), Mochi's Bakery (baked goods), TheBack40 (Smoked BBQ sandwiches and hot sauces), and Kawartha Coffee Company (coffee), ensuring a feast for all the senses. We’re also delighted to have live music from Doug Rice (Saturday 10am-11:30am), Graeme Morrison (Sunday 10am-11:30am), North Country Express (both afternoons)!

With entertainment and activities for the whole family, it's a weekend of fun and exploration for everyone to enjoy. Plus, by joining us at the Made in Kawartha Lakes show + sale, you're not just experiencing local talent — you're supporting it. It's a wonderful way to champion the arts in our community and uplift our talented creators.

  • This event is free! Donations are gratefully accepted for the Kawartha Settlers’ Village, though not necessary for admittance.

  • There is parking available at the Kawartha Settlers’ Village entrance (on Josie Court) in the Kawartha Settlers’ Village parking lot and back field. Street parking is also available, unless blocked off by cones, particularly along Dunn Street.

  • Some do, and some don’t. To best prepare, please bring cash for any of your purchases. E-transfer can also be an option on the spot - just ask the artist to be sure!

  • The following are available in the town of Bobcaygeon:

    CIBC Branch - 93 Bolton Street

    BMO Bank of Montreal - 75 Bolton Street

    RBC Royal Bank - 50 King Street East

  • Yes, there are washrooms onsite! They will be visible on the map.

  • Your dogs are very welcome, as long as they remain on a leash and with their owner at all time. Please bring poop bags to dispose of any of their business.

  • Most definitely! All vendors - both inside and outside - will be there for the duration of the show.
