About the Artist

Mary Garason's Art is influenced by the beauty of our natural Earth. Bold sunsets, delicate wildflowers, sparkling lakes, rushing water and the coolness of majestic mountains inspire her creative practice.

She uses photographs, plein air studies, and music to enhance her oil or acrylic paintings. All the frames are custom made in Lakefield Ontario.

Mary hopes her Art promotes memories of a peaceful walk in the woods, the joy of finding that elusive wildflower or canoeing on a favourite lake. Her passion is to encourage others to develop their creativity.
