About the Artist
Angie Chapman is an Abstract Expressionistic Artist residing in Peterborough, Ontario.
Throughout my early years into adulthood, I enjoyed creating art in the form of pencil and charcoal sketches to pastel paintings to traditional knit works. This started me on my art journey. In my late 30’s I pursued a career in Interior Design and opened my own business in 1997. It was through my Interior Design work where my passion for colour and texture first came to light. Both colour and texture led me further on my art journey and into a career as an artist where these elements are the common thread in all my paintings.
