Jack Burrill

Jack has always been a storyteller from a young age, it was inevitable that his path would follow a life in the theatre. Jack has found himself grateful to be part owner of Unchained Theatre Company a theatre troupe based in Toronto.

He is an award-winning writer, actor, and director. He entered his own piece Sun in the West in the National Theatre School Festival, where he played the character Bud. Other acting credits include Sgt. Dogberry in Wildcat Theatre’s production Much Ado About Nothing, Robin Hood in Lindsay Little Theatre’s production of The Heart of Robin Hood, he acted and directed in William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night where he played Sir Toby Belch, various roles in the third rendition of Kaleidoscope and Shylock in Merchant of Venice. Jack's recent roles at the Lindsay Little Theatre were as the enigmatic Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice and Colonel Mustard in Clue. Jack strives to act and immerse himself in classic theatre and its legendary roles.
