ARTS EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES IN KAWARTHA LAKES!

Many organizations and artists in Kawartha Lakes run workshops focusing on various aspects of the Arts. Although some sessions have been put on hold due to the pandemic, other groups are putting safety measures in place and carrying on. Here is a selection of classes and workshops running now and Spring 2022:

KAWARTHA ART GALLERY

The Gallery is running “Crazy Creative” on Saturdays from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm for youth aged 7-13. It’s a Drop-in opportunity to sculpt in Model Magic and tackle drawing projects. Admission is a food item or donation to the Kawartha Lakes Food Source. Lindsay. www.kawarthagallery.com

 

GLOBUS THEATRE

Globus presents Drama Workshops:  Drama for Grown-Ups, Script Club, Performance Art, Dramatic Play for 4 - 7 year olds, Advanced Acting for Teens, and Musical Theatre for all ages.  Prices are $155 - $180 per term. THE HAYLOFT, GAMIING NATURE CENTRE

Gamiing regularly runs workshops for different ages in spoon and paddle carving, herbal gifts, rustic sign painting, dying with natural pigments, and hosts paint nights. Lindsay. www.gamiing.org
